Shark Biscuit Productions have just recently completed a very exciting project for Kebelo, an award winning hair care smoothing system.

We produced their instructional DVD, which we shot in a beautiful, Italian furnished, salon showroom, in Reading.

In total we produced two videos for Kebelo. The first video served as a promotional introduction to their innovative ADVANTAGE treatment, which, is currently the most advanced anti-frizz formula hair care product available on the market. Cutting between the interview with Kebelo's artistic director, and the candid shots of the models, and production team, we were able to highlight Kebelo's practical application, and demonstrate to our audience its beautiful results.

The second video we produced for them was a state of the art tutorial DVD for Kebelo hair stylists and salons, around Europe. For this, we needed to pay special attention to Kebelo unique brand details given the length (15 Minutes) and the iconic signature look of Kebelo.

Additionally, it was important to pay special attention to the detailed motion graphics, which we produced – ensuring that they were clear, crisp and conveying all the information in an aesthetically engaging and creative way.

The finished product had to uphold the brand, and production values of Kebelo, and stil be functional, simple and easy to follow.

We were pleased to have produced a very ‘life-like’ salon scenario with this project, with three models, one stylist, a photographer and two camera men.

The purpose of this was to capture the energy and excitement that happens at a Kebelo photoshoot, and again to illustrate the professional quality of the product,

We believe that our passion and precision for capturing the aesthetic at Shark Biscuit Productions, really does set us apart from other industry competitors. Working within the beauty and fashion industry within the prestigious projects we have engaged with, has certainly given us the edge when it comes to shooting quality editorial and beauty footage.

We’re looking forward to future collaborations with Kebelo!

Daniel Field Protein Hair Care Commercial.

Posted November 15th, 2011. Filed under Advertising Fashion Video
Shark Biscuit Productions are pleased to have finished a series of commercials to be aired on QVC for Daniel Fields Protein Colours, and Protein Lights.
The brief was to create natural beauty that echoed the value of the product that we were trying to sell.
Daniel Fields product is unique, it boasts the fact that it is natural, that it is not chemically motivated, and that it almost shares it purity with water.
Shark Biscuit chose to shoot in the Victorian Bank based on Bute Street, the building set the scene with its stunning architecture, and vast open spaces.
Shark Biscuit shot on the Sony EX3, which was able to deliver stunning results and really highlight the natural beauty of the models using the Daniel Field product.
An opportunity for Shark Biscuit to overcome was to illustrate the natural reaction that happens to the hair with application of the product.
Using Maya Shark Biscuit were able to build in 3D the follicle of the hair, and show the hair being caressed by the Daniel Field product. The animation was illustrated on the nano level.

White Gallery Couture Bridal Fair

Posted November 11th, 2011. Filed under Advertising Events Fashion Video
Shark Biscuit Productions were asked to provide event coverage for the White Gallery Wedding fair in the Saatchi Gallery London.
We had a crew of three camera operators on hand to ensure we would obtain full coverage.
Shark Biscuit were able to film all the designers on the catwalks, and then to deliver individual video's of each designers collection post event.
As this was the first exhibition from the White Gallery we found the lighting on the catwalks to be just too bright for how reflective the white silk wedding dresses were.
This meant that our Shark Biscuit's Post production team had to spend a little more time than usual grading the online footage.
Shark Biscuit were pleased with the final results and think that the dresses came out very well considering the inadequate lighting.

Shark Biscuit Productions Ident

Posted November 11th, 2011. Filed under Advertising Television Video
Shark Biscuit Productions have decided to rebrand their on air look.
Shark Biscuit positively love their original logo.

Although, we feel this logo has been a loyal, faithful friend, we know that it is now time to move forward with a design that is more versatile, streamlined and easier to recognise. The graphic team went back to the drawing board and within two days developed our new identity.

Moving forward from just a static design, we decided to turn our new logo into an Ident that we could use front and back of every commercial that we produce for our clothing company.

Stockopedia Ident

Posted November 11th, 2011. Filed under Advertising Video
Shark Biscuit Productions were asked to produce a corporate Ident for Stockopedia.
The Ident was to be a short brand burst that instantly gave the client a clear understanding of their product. Shark Biscuit chose to incorporate numerous images that we associate with the finance industry, and to combine them all on the same platform.
By producing this video Ident for Stockopedia, they now have a visual of strong brand content that they can place at the front and back end of every video they produce moving forward.
Stockopedia is your one stop media platform for all informed decisions when you are dealing with the finance industry.
Shark Biscuit Productions look forward to working closely with Stockopedia as they develop their online video presence.

Anything for Hire Viral

Posted October 14th, 2011. Filed under Video
Asked to make a viral video for online hire broker company AnythingforHire.com, Shark Biscuit Productions were given a real license to be creative on this project.
After a few days of brainstorming we were certain that Meatloaf should be the best foot forward.
Borrowing heavily from this hit music record ‘I Would Do Anything For Love’, we smashed, blended and reworked this classic for our needs to play ‘I Would Do Anything For Hire’.
Using our office as a studio and the Anything For Hire staff as a cast, we fashioned our own Meatloaf and encouraged them to belt out our new interpretation.
Anything For Hire are able to promote this viral video online and make their new interpretation stick in the minds of all who watch.
Love it or hate it – as long as you remember it!

Working with the Radisson Blu Group Golden Sands Resort in Malta has been a great success for Shark Biscuit Productions.

The 2 minute 30 second commercial was warmly received by the client.
They have already been playing the commercial on a wide-screen TV at their retail outlet in Malta International Airport.

The video has also featured on the website and televisions in and around the Golden Sands Resort itself.

The Radisson Blu Group were so pleased with the outcome of the promotional video that Shark Biscuit Productions were asked to provide two further versions of the original.

A 1 minute 30 second version was edited, alongside another 1 minute version, which now provides the Golden Sands Resort with a variety of promotional options.

Versions can now be selected by both the Radisson Blu Group and the Golden Sands Resort itself to suit the specific needs and requirements of events or promotions.

The idea behind the video was to capture the real, rustic character of Malta and to portray the rich culture and history that this country has to offer.

Promising an experience off the beaten track, the promotional video provides audiences with the sense of a local Malta waiting to be discovered, far away from the trappings of commercial touristic destinations.

Having thoroughly enjoyed working with the Radisson Blu Group for the Golden Sands Resort in Malta, Shark Biscuit Products are hoping to embark on another project similar to this one very soon.

Shark Biscuit Productions recently finished a highlight video of the co-operative Mencap barn dance.

We had a fantastic time line dancing, trying out zumba and listening to the live music on offer.
The delicious crepes and curry provided much needed sustenance for lugging the heavy camera kit around!

Shark Biscuit Productions have recently completed their first 10-second commercial for St. Catherine’s Walk Shopping Centre in Carmarthen.
With only 10 seconds to work with, the commercial required a succinct and precise message.

These limitations were difficult to work with and inevitably they meant that Shark Biscuit Productions were only able to scratch the surface of what the renewed St. Catherine’s Walk has to offer.

After airing for the first time on ITV Wales in July, St. Catherine’s Walk enjoyed increased foot-flow.

Shark Biscuit Productions are incredibly pleased with this result, considering the real challenges of producing a commercial with such a restricted time frame.

We are now in the process of finding out, in real terms, whether there was an overall increase in turnover for the Carmarthenshire Shopping Centre.

The commercial can be viewed here:
